By selecting "Allow Multiple Attempts", students are permitted to retake the quiz a specified number of times. Once this option is chosen, the choice to keep a range of quiz scores and the number of attempts is made available.
1. In the Quiz options, navigate to "Allow Multiple Attempts" section
- Allow Multiple Attempts - Allows the students to attempt the quiz multiple times, as defined by "Allowed Attempts". When this option is enabled, Canvas displays the Quiz Score to Keep and Allowed Attempts options.
- Quiz Score to Keep - Choose whether to keep the highest score, latest score, or average score of all attempts. By default, Canvas will keep the highest score unless this setting is changed.
- Allowed Attempts - You can allow multiple attempts and limit the number of attempts. The default dashes represent unlimited attempts.
