When adding questions to a quiz, you have two options of adding questions for a specific quiz: a question group or to a question bank.
Question groups allow instructors to create a pool of questions that Canvas will randomly draw from. This creates a unique quiz for each student.
Question Banks are a place to house questions that can be added to quizzes across courses or accounts. This also creates a unique quiz for each student.
Before adding quiz questions, please ensure that you have created a quiz.
1. In the Quiz, select the "Questions" tab
- On the quiz editing page, select the Questions tab.

- New Question Group - Question groups allow you to place multiple questions within a group for students to answer. You can choose the number of questions that should be answered from the group and how many points to assign each question. Creating a question group randomizes questions within a quiz.
