How do I upload an existing video to Microsoft Clipchamp?

Updated on

Microsoft Clipchamp allows you to upload and manage existing video files using your U of T Microsoft 365 account. Videos uploaded through Clipchamp are stored in OneDrive or SharePoint and can be opened in the Clipchamp video player.

This guide explains how to choose where to store and upload an existing video file using Microsoft Clipchamp.

Before you begin

Before uploading your video, consider where your video should be stored:

  • OneDrive: Use for videos that you manage individually.
  • SharePoint or Teams: Use for videos that need to be stored in a shared location and accessed or managed by a team, department, or other group.

If a video needs to be retained or managed by your division, department, or team, select an appropriate shared location such as SharePoint or Teams rather than storing the only copy in your individual OneDrive.
