Mastering Engineering: How to Create an account and sign up for APS160

These instructions guide you on how to create a Pearson Education account and how to register for APS160.

Go to Mastering Education's Login Page

Go to Mastering Education's Login Page

Go to www.masteringengineering.com

  1. Select on Student.

Specify your Location

Specify your Location
  1. Select on "in the US or Canada" button.

Specify that you have a Course ID

Specify that you have a Course ID
  1. Enter "APS160MECH" as the course ID.

Specify that you have an Access Code

Specify that you have an Access Code
  1. Select on "Yes, I have an access code."
  2. Select on "Next."

Read the License Agreement

  1. Read the license agreement and then select on "I accept" to proceed.

Create a Pearson Education Account

Create a Pearson Education Account
  1. If you do not have a Pearson Education Account, select the "no" radio button.
  2. Fill in your UTORmail+ Email Address.
  3. Create a password. (This account is not related to your UTORid.)
  4. Re-type your passwod.
  5. Enter this access code: ISSEST-STEAD-MESIC-REGNA-AFOOT-LURES
  6. Select Next.

  1. Enter your full given and family names.
  2. Enter your UTORmail+ email address.
  3. Re-type your email address.
  4. Select "Canada" from the drop down.
  5. Select "Ontario" from the drop down.
  6. Select "University of Toronto - St. George" from the drop down.
  7. Select a security question.
  8. Provide an answer.
  9. You can leave this box unchecked.
  10. Select "Next."

Note: It is expected that you enter your full name and official email address.

Finish by Logging In

  1. Select the button.

Specify the Course ID once more

Specify the Course ID once more
  1. Select the "yes" radio button.
  2. Re-enter "APS160MECH"

Enter your Student Number

Enter your Student Number
  1. Enter your student number.
  2. Select "continue."

Note: You do not have to provide your student number. Select "Skip this Step" to continue.

Select on the "Assignments" tab.

Select on the "Assignments" tab.
  1. Select the "Assignments" tab to see the assigned quizzes for your course.
