How to create folders in MyMedia?

MyMedia now allows users to create folders for organization of files uploaded to the platform. Here is a guide to how folders can be created.

1. Creating folders under "root"

The root folder is the default folder that has been created for you.

  1. Click on the folder icon.
  2. Enter a name for the new folder. Please note that at the moment, MyMedia has a restrictive limit of 15 characters for the names of folders.
  3. Make sure that you are creating a new folder under the root folder.
  4. Click on "Create".
  5. You will see the new folder shown like this on the left. You may now click on the name of the new folder to access it.

2. Creating a folder under another folder other than the root folder

  1. Click on the three dots next to the folder that is going to be the parent folder for the new folder.
  2. Click on "Add Folder".
  3. Enter a name for the new folder. Please note that at the moment, MyMedia has a restrictive limit of 15 characters for the names of folders.
  4. Make sure that you are creating a new folder under the intended parent folder.
  5. Click on "Create".
  6. You will see the new folder shown like this on the left. You may now click on the name of the new folder to access it.
