Online Learning Strategies (OLS) Resources

  1. Large Online/Remote Courses -  As part of ongoing continuity planning and support Online Learning Strategies has co-facilitated a preliminary round table discussion with University of Toronto instructors who have an interest in developing and facilitating high enrollment (200+) courses. The conversation and subsequent investigation surfaced many strategies and recommended digital resources to manage large classes. The following draft document is available to the U of T community in SharePoint to allow editing to add additional suggestions or information. In the coming days these materials will be added to Academic Continuity – Teaching Online/Remotely on the CTSI web site. To receive ongoing communication or to participate in upcoming round tables, please RSVP using Large Online/Remote courses – Community Network RSVP.
  2. Virtual Labs for Remote/Online Courses - As part of ongoing continuity planning and support Online Learning Strategies has co-facilitated a preliminary roundtable discussion with University of Toronto instructors who have an interest in online labs for remote/online teaching experience (see Online Labs for Remote/Online Courses – Strategies and  Online Labs for Remote Online Courses – Recommended Resources). To receive ongoing communication or to participate in upcoming round tables, please RSVP using Virtual Labs for Remote/Online Courses – Community Network RSVP.
