EdTech Newsletters are great for getting up-to-date information about what is happening locally and globally. They are usually quick, they come right to you, and all you need to do is scan some headings to get relevant information.

University of Toronto (EdTech-y) Newsletters

  1. CTSI Connect (Subscribe) - This is a newsletter from U of T's central teaching support resource, the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation.
  2. Provost's Weekly Digest (Subscribe) - The Provost's Weekly Digest is distributed each Friday. Special Digests will be distributed as needed. Questions and feedback are welcome at [email protected].
  3. In the Loop (Subscribe) - The newsletter from Information Technology Services, focusing on all matters relevant to IT at the University, including ITS preparedness, the CIO blog, information security, and HR & Equity.
  4. ACT Director's Blog - Written by Dr. Avi Hyman, the blog highlights the Academic and Collaborative Technology team at CTSI. Articles span both the technical and non-technical aspects of implementing technology in your courses; recent articles have focused on creating an inclusive online environment, CTSI's new director, and A&S's new Online Learning Academy.
